Specifications

1. SCOPE
This standard applies to locks designed to prevent the release of spherical joints insulators and line fittings.

2. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1. Locks shall meet the requirements of this standard, GOST 13276, and working drawings, duly approved.
2.2. Basic parameters and dimensions
2.2.1. Brands and sizes of V-shaped locks should be as shown in Figure 1 and Table 1. Performance edges on the ends of the legs of the V-shaped locks are given in Appendix A.

Note - According to agreement between manufacturer and consumer is supposed to produce W-shaped locks of all brands with R2 = 5 mm.

2.2.3. Symbols
In the callout letters mean: V - V-shaped (hair pin) Lock; W - W-shaped (spring) lock.
Examples of identification

V-shaped lock slot for a conditional size of 16 mm, type A:

2.2.4. Locks have to be made of corrosion-resistant material with a hardness of at least HV 160 units for the V-shaped and at least 150 - for W-shaped locks. Type of material and its properties are specified in the design documentation.
2.2.5. Depending on the supplied material allowed to produce W-shaped locks with tolerances on the width of the lock (7) + 0.4 mm for nominal sizes from 11 to 24 mm and 0.7 mm for nominal sizes from 28 mm to 32 mm for deliveries to Russia market. When shipped to other countries - by agreement between manufacturer and consumer.
2.2.6. V-shaped lock must be of the nest holes of not less than 5 mm (Figure 3).

2.2.7. Allowed reducing the size of L2 V-shaped locks, subject to the requirements of 2.2.6. It must be correspondingly reduced overall length L1 lock
2.2.8. V-shaped locks to move from the locking position (Figure 3) to the pre-fixation (Figure 4) when force is applied: from 30 to 300 N - equivalent to the size of 11 mm; 50 500 H - for other conventional sizes.
2.2.9. V-shaped locks should not be completely removed from the nest when a force Fmah: 300 N - equivalent to the size of 11 mm; 500 H - for other conventional sizes.
2.2.10. W-shaped locks to move from the locking position (Figure 5) to the pre-fixation (Figure 6) when a force of 25 to 250 N.

 In agreement with the consumer values ​​of these forces can be set within a certain range .

2.2.11 . W- shaped locks should not be completely removed from the nest when a force Fmah = 250 N.
2.2.12 . On the surface of locks should not be defects that can affect normal operation .
2.2.13 . Locks should be included with insulators and line fittings. At the request of the consumer is allowed an additional ship locks without insulators and line fittings .

2.3. Labeling
Marking locks - according to GOST 13276.

2.4. Packaging
Packing locks - according to GOST 13276.

3. Environmental protection requirements

3.1. Locks for storage , transportation and operation do not cause impacts on the ecological environment , which could be harmful to health and human genetic stock .

3.2. Waste and decommissioning products pass for recycling .

4 . ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

4.1. To check the locks set the acceptance tests .

4.2 . Routine tests are carried out on the locks , selected at random from the lot of locks. Locks for the party take the same brand , manufactured in the same process conditions and designed a quality document .
With acceptance tests performed:
1 ) checking appearance;
2 ) Verification of dimensions;
3) bending test ;
4) hardness tests ;
5 ) the operational test.

Notes
1. Acceptance number corresponds to the number of defects taken to AQL.
2 . AQL = 1,5 % - the number of locks that have a superficial spreading or incipient cracks. By agreement between manufacturer and consumer of party castles to the presence of incipient cracks marriage.
3 . AQL = 6,5% - the number of locks with small shells or rough surface. The party meets the requirements of 5.3 , if the number of defective locks less than or equal to the acceptance number K, ie, If the acceptance number to exceed the value given in Table 3 , the batch is rejected castles .
4.4. The number of locks P to be tested for compliance with the other requirements of section 5.2 shall be equal to the nearest whole number greater than the number obtained by the formulas:

at 500 ≤ N ≤ 20,000

for N> 20000.

If N < 500 F shall be determined by agreement between the parties , where N - number of locks in the party.

Locks were selected for the tests are divided into two approximately equal parts, which are subsequently subjected to the following tests :
- The first part - check the size , the bending test and hardness;
- The second part - the verification of the size and performance test ( requirement 2.2.7 - 2.2.10 ) .
4.5. If unsatisfactory test results sizes retested on tripled the number of locks taken from the same lot.
4.6. If unsatisfactory results of bending tests and hardness , as well as the performance test at least one lock , one of the above tests should be conducted on the re-test the doubled number of locks taken from the same lot. If two or more locks could not stand any of these tests or the results of repeated tests are not satisfactory, then the entire batch is rejected .

5 . TEST METHODS

5.1. Appearance of locks is checked by inspection without magnification .
5.2 . Dimensions of locks check gauges and universal measuring instruments.

In the V-shaped locks should be checked sizes : S, T , R2, F2min, Rmin and Lmin.

5.3. Check the size of Lmin and Lmax spend on the device as shown in figure 7 , with the lock should touch the point A. Conditional sizes to fit D1 and be as detailed in Table 4.

Technical requirements for the gauges are given in Appendix B.

5.5. W- shaped lock set in caliber in the position of a drawing by 8 so that the nominal dimensions F1 and F5 were recorded with the appropriate pins and stops.
5.6. A groove width corresponds to the nominal size of the F6. The ends of the legs of the lock should be within the range formed by these grooves.
5.7. Size D must meet the nominal width of the F2 lock. Cutouts allow the comparison of the lock and the nominal size .
5.8. Size D should correspond to the nominal size of the F3 inner loop.
5.9 . Groove width G must comply with the difference between the nominal size of F4 and F5.

The nominal dimensions of the lock F3 and F4 check inner edges of the grooves caliber.

5.10 . Dimensions L1, L2, L3, L4, S and T is checked by means of direct measurement.
5.11 . The bend test is performed on a sample taken from the straight part of the V-shaped legs of the lock, or on a sample taken from the material of which were manufactured V- shaped locks . One end of the specimen is clamped in a vise , one of whose jaws is made ​​of steel plate . The surface of the pad is angled approximately 75 ° relative to the vertical axis.

The bend test consists in a disposable sample bending angle of 75 ° in Figure 9. Depending on the brand of lock to be selected following bending radii, R, mm:

The sample is bent with a hammer . After bending, should not be cracked. For a W- shaped locks bending test is not carried out .

5.12 . Hardness test performed by Vickers GOST 2999 ​​on one of the flat surfaces of the lock. For each lock should be a series of three measurements. The average of the three measurements must be greater than or equal to 160 Vickers for a V- shaped locks and 150 units for the W- shaped locks.

Allowed to measure the hardness of the other methods in accordance with GOST 9012 and GOST 9013 .

5.13 . Performance test of V-shaped locks carried out as follows . The castle is inserted into the opening of the spherical socket swivel according to GOST 27396 and ends bred by Figure 1 . The castle converted into a locking position. Thereafter, the lock lug along its axis a force is applied which is gradually increased up until locking of the locking position (Figure 3) moves to the pre- fixing (figure 4). The moving operation of the lock locking position to the pre- fixation should be repeated consecutively three times.

Force causing the movement of the lock should be within the limits specified in 2.2.8 . In addition to the eyelet lock should be applied force Fmax Po 2.2.9 .

5.14 . Beta Test W- shaped locks carried out as follows . The castle is inserted into the slot. With a steel rod of rectangular cross section of width equal to the size F5, shown in Table 2 , and a height T given in Table 1 , a force is applied to lock the two rounded portions along its axis. The force is gradually increased until the until the lock of the locking position (Figure 5 ) will move to the pre- fixation (Figure 6). The moving operation of the castle should be repeated consecutively three times. Force causing the movement of the lock should be within the limits specified in 2.2.10 .

In addition, the lock should be applied force Fmax = 250 H.

5.15 . In the tests , except for the performance test , the locks should not be in the nests of the spherical joint.


6. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

Transportation and storage of locks - according to GOST 13276 .

7. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

7.1. V- shaped lock is inserted through the input jack of the spherical hinge joint and then diluted ends ( Figure 1). After that, the lock can be set from pre- fixation (Figure 4) in the locked position (Figure 3).
7.2 . W- shaped lock is inserted through the input jack of the spherical joint. Then, the lock can be transferred from the locking position (Figure 5) to the pre- fixation (Figure 6).

8. WARRANTY

The manufacturer's warranty locks - according to GOST 13276 .

Version of V- SHAPED LOCKS

The edges at the ends of legs of the V-shaped lock may be:
1) rectangular ;
2) have a chamfer on one side ;
3) have a bevel on both sides.

SPECIFICATIONS Caliber

B.1. Gauges shall be made of non-shrinkable oil-hardened steel with a hardness of at least 58-63 HRC
B.2. The surface roughness gauge must not be greater than 4 microns.

MATERIALS FOR LOCKS

Materials from which the locks can be made:
- Bronze and phosphor bronze;
- Copper alloys with zinc content of less than 15%, corresponding stabilizing past a joke;
- Austenitic stainless steel subjected to the standard heat treatment during manufacture of the original profile.
